TOYOBO MC Corporation (hereinafter “TOYOBO MC”) will exhibit at “CAMX 2026”, to be held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, from September 22 to 24, 2026. CAMX is North America’s largest trade show dedicated to the composites and advanced materials industry.

At its booth, TOYOBO MC will showcase “ZYLON^®”, a poly(p-phenylene-2, 6-benzobisoxazole) (PBO) fiber.

“ZYLON^®” is a high-performance fiber that offers world-leading tensile strength and tensile modulus at the highest level among organic fibers with outstanding heat and flame resistance. It has been used in a wide range of applications, including firefighter garment, automotive structural components, and sporting equipment. In addition to its exceptional tensile strength and tensile modulus, “ZYLON^®” offers excellent vibration damping and impact absorption properties, helping enhance the performance of composite materials when combined with carbon fiber and other reinforcing materials.

At “CAMX 2026”, TOYOBO MC will present development samples for composite materials as well as commercialized products and application examples, demonstrating the potential of “ZYLON^®” as an advanced reinforcement material for next-generation composites.
